2004 Ingoldby Shiraz

Very deep crimson mauve purple colour. Lifted nose, showing classic McLaren Vale Shiraz qualities, with spicy blackberry top notes followed by black cherry, plum and vanilla. The palate is tight and lacks the expected joosy quality that the nose heralds. Flavours of plum and stewed fruit are followed by a hint of cherry. Fine dry and persistent tannins.
