First established in the mid 1800’s, Langhorne Creek is generally considered to be the second largest grape producing region in South Australia. The name Howlin' Gale comes from a play on the name 'Lake Breeze'. The vineyard is located on the shores of Lake Alexandrina. The country is quite flat and very windy, in fact the breeze is more like a howlin' gale.

The Howlin' Gale wines represent fantastic value for money.

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Top note of vanilla, followed by plum, spice and confectionary. On the palate flavours of vanilla, dark chocolate and black pepper, followed by confectionary and smoky oak. Excellent palate weight and mouthfeel. Aftertaste of toasted oak, vanilla and confectionary.
