Helen’s Hill was named after the property’s previous owner, Helen Fraser. The estate comprises of 101 acres which is situated above the frost line. The soils are sandy clay loam. Helen’s Hill story can be read from its crest, whose inspiration was the founders’ occupations. The wheat sheaf for broad acre farming, the serpent and cross for medical careers and the bull and bear for the stock market – these diverse careers are all held together by a bunch of grapes.

Straw colour with pale straw hue. Aroma of biscuit and hazelnut, followed by honeycomb and yeast lees, showing strong barrel ferment character. On the palate the barrel ferment character is again very pronounced, with flavours of yeast lees, cashew and biscuit. Creamy texture. Aftertaste of yeast lees and hazelnut.
