2004 Grant Burge Meshach Shiraz

Opaque black crimson brick red colour with black crimson hue. Perfumed nose, top note of violets followed by cedar, plum and spice with end notes of liquorice and chocolate. The palate takes a few minutes to evolve. Starting off a little light and later displays mouthfilling flavours of spice, white pepper, chocolate, vanilla, stewed fruit and cedar. Excellent weight and length. White pepper builds strongly on the aftertaste.
