2004 Fire Block Old Vine Grenache

A very ripe example of Grenache. Medium body brick red colour with some signs of tawny brown at the edge. Aroma of spice, raspberry jam and stewed fruit. The palate delivers flavours of spice and raspberry jam over a warm back palate. Layers of leather and plum emerge. Soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of plum and stewed fruit with warmth persisting.
