Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Top note of violet, followed by spice and blackcurrant. On the palate flavours of liquorice, dark chocolate, blackcurrant and spice emerge. First tasting, December 2006:
Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of cedar, plum, liquorice and cigar box. On the palate, flavours of stewed fruit, cedar and blackcurrant are supported by fine grained, dryish tannins, overlaid with a cigar box back palate. There is a touch of coffee that emerges followed by stewed fruit. Aftertaste of stewed fruit, leather and cedar.
