A big ‘joosy’ red and one of the best from Chapel Hill in recent years
Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson mauve hue. Lifted nose – perfumed with violet top note, followed by spice, blackberry, vanilla and blackcurrant. The palate flavours are generous, with ripe plum dominant, followed by chocolate, vanilla and blackberry. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of chocolate, ripe plum, vanilla and blackberry.
