2004 Chalk Hill Sangiovese

Very deep, crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Medium body. There is a hint of earth, followed by spice, raspberry and cherry over a white pepper background. Excellent palate weight and structure. Flavours of cherry, spice and earth followed by light leather. Velvet tannins – something not easily found in Italian varietals. Very long aftertaste of cherry, spice and light earth. Very Limited Stocks. Cellar 3-4 years (2010-2011)
