2004 Cellante Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Top note of blackcurrant, followed by spice, new leather and cedar with hints of tea leaf as an end note. The wine is displaying some development. The palate flavours are light with cedar and leather flavours to the fore. Soft tannins. And again a touch of tea leaf on the back palate. Aftertaste of cedar and leather.

First tasted October 2006:Very deep, almost opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. The nose delivers a refined Cabernet sniff. The palate flavour profile is light, with flavours of blackcurrant, old leather and earth emerging. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant and old leather.
