The fruit for the Green Vineyards Shiraz is sourced from two quite different Heathcote terroirs. The first vineyard is located on the Cambrian earth of the Mount Camel Range. The second source of grapes is located at Graytown where the different soil type delivers a mineral vibrancy which complements the opulence of the fruit grown on Cambrian soil.

This is an excellent Heathcote Shiraz.

A big full flavoured red.

Totally opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. Perfumed nose with top note of blackberry, vanilla, black pepper and violet. The palate is generous – mouthfilling flavours of blackberry and black pepper followed by back palate flavours of plum and spice. Excellent length and depth. Fine grained tannins. Very long aftertaste of spice, liquorice and black pepper.
Cellar 5-8 years (2012-2015)
Alc/Vol: 14.7%
