2004 Blue Pyrenees Brut Chardonnay Pinot Noir Pinot Meunier

Creamy straw coloured mousse with moderate hold. Very fine persistent bead, with deep straw pale gold base wine. The nose is subdued, with top note of yeast lees followed by biscuit and honeycomb. Very creamy mouthfeel, with lemon and grapefruit flavours evident. The acidity is quite high and persists well into the aftertaste. Clean crisp finish but lacking complexity.
