2004 Bent Creek The Black Dog Shiraz

Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson purple hue. Lifted nose of spice and violets, followed by blackberry and liquorice allsorts. Smoky oak, liquorice and stewed plum flavours are evident followed by fine grained tannins. There is a hint of white pepper on the back palate. Aftertaste of plum, spice and liquorice with stewed fruit persisting.
