2004 Balthazar of the Barossa Shiraz

Almost opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Top note of vanilla, followed by violet, liquorice allsorts and confectionary delivering a perfumed sniff. Mouthfilling palate of blackberry, vanilla and liquorice allsorts over a spicy back palate. Fine grained tannins, perfectly balanced. Very spicy aftertaste of black pepper and vanilla.
