2004 Balnaves Coonawarra Cabernet Merlot

Opaque black brick red colour with black brick red hue. Top note of cedar, followed by blackcurrant, spice and a constrained touch of tea leaf. On the palate flavours of cedar, cigar box and blackcurrant with a black pepper back palate being very spicy. Aftertaste of cedar and blackcurrant with fine dry tannins persisting.
