2004 Baddaginnie Run Shiraz

A wine which displays pronounced varietal character. Opaque black purple colour with deep purple hue. Liquorice allsorts top notes followed by violets, blackberry and spice. The palate has a joosy quality reminiscent of McLaren Vale Shiraz rather than Central Victorian. Excellent mouthfeel, with refined flavours of blackberry and plum followed by vanilla and spice. Velvet tannin structure. Aftertaste of spice, liquorice and plum.
