2003 Zilzie Estate Selection 23 Cabernet Merlot

Semi-translucent crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. The nose reveals subtle notes of blackcurrant, spice and confectionary. The palate has a green stalky quality which detracts from the stewed fruit. Dry chalky tannins. Stewed fruit aftertaste.
