Bright, crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Medium body. Lifted nose, showing distinct varietal character. Perfumed notes of raspberry, liquorice and spice. The palate has the expected raspberry, liquorice counterpoint but lacks the ‘joosy’ quality that top Grenache can deliver. Dry chalky tannins. Aftertaste of raspberry and spice.
