This wine is produced by David and Pam Cross from a place called Williamstown at the Southern end of the Barossa Valley. The blend is comprised of 75% Grenache and 25% Shiraz. Almost opaque purple mauve colour with deep mauve purple hue. Smoky vanilla top note, followed by spice, plum and liquorice, over a raspberry background. The palate flavours are generous with fine dry tannins. Flavours of liquorice, vanilla, spice and earth emerge over a background of raspberry and white pepper. Very long aftertaste of raspberry, white pepper, earth and new leather.
