2003 Tisdall Chardonnay

A Chardonnay with an unusual aroma profile, that is almost exotic. Bright straw colour. Aroma of ripe yellow peach, spice and tropical fruit. The palate displays flavours of ripe cantaloupe, ripe yellow peach and an unexpected touch of musk. The musk, yellow peach flavours persist well into the back palate, evident but not dominating, overlaid by a touch of confectionary and spice. Clean acid finish with aftertaste of musk, melon and peach. A good commercial wine.
