A remarkable follow up release! The 2002 Three Brothers Shiraz was one of the red wine bargains that emerged as a result of the industry oversupply situation. The 2003 has just been released and whilst it has been only recently been bottled, displays more length and depth of flavour than the outstanding 2002 wine – a big statement given that the price still remains at under $10.

This wine continues to receive praise from the wine world with Victorian Wine writer, PADDY KENDLAR recently describing it as “...an unpretentious and uncomplicated dry red...surely one of the best wines in the country in this price bracket."

Opaque black purple colour with deep crimson purple hue. The nose is impressive, providing strong varietal lift with aroma of spice, liquorice, blackberry and plum followed by a black pepper end note. The palate has remarkable length and depth, with pronounced flavours of spice, liquorice, black cherry and black pepper, followed by back palate flavours of dark chocolate and raspberry. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Very long aftertaste of black pepper.
A superb quaffer at a bargain price.
