A quaffing Shiraz. Medium body. Crimson colour with crimson hue. Aroma of plum, spice and stewed fruit. Simple palate with stewed fruit flavours evident over spice. Fine, dry tannins which persist. Aftertaste of stewed fruit.

First tasted, April 2004:
The wine displays vibrant youthful colour of opaque black purple and crimson. The nose is lifted with notes of spice, raspberry and black cherry emerging followed by vanilla and fresh liquorice. The tannins are quite firm, dry and overwhelm the raspberry, liquorice, blackberry flavours and persist well into the aftertaste.
