An outstanding Central Victorian Shiraz, made by Adrian Munari.

The Sugarloaf vineyard is located on the boundary of three geographical regions of Upper Goulburn, Goulburn Valley and Macedon Ranges. The vineyard was established in the 1990’s by the Blyth and Hunter families, and is planted to entirely Shiraz clone PT23. The vineyard is sited on rich black volcanic soil over red clay, which has the ability to hold water even in drought conditions. The Shiraz wines have consistently won high praise, receiving multiple gold medals and trophies. Made by Adrian Munari, this is an outstanding Central Victorian Shiraz.

Very deep black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue. Lifted nose of liquorice, spice and blackberry followed by a hint of vanilla, plum and spice. Generous palate flavours, reflective of the rich ripe flavours of Water Wheel. Blackberry, vanilla and liquorice allsorts are evident. Warm, spicy back palate. Soft tannins. Long spice, liquorice, plum and vanilla aftertaste.
