2003 Stonier Reserve Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. The nose is quite sophisticated with aroma of biscuit, yeast lees and cashew followed by a hint of citrus, melon and fig. The palate has excellent structure retaining a flinty quality with quite crisp acidity. Flavours of biscuit, fig and yeast lees emerge, followed by a layer of cashews and hazelnut. The wine is quite dry with excellent length. Aftertaste of hazelnuts, yeast lees and biscuit.
