2003 Stefano Lubiana Merlot

An elegant Merlot, which has been awarded a trophy and gold medal at the Tasmanian Wine Show. Bright crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Medium body. The nose is impressive. Lifted notes of violets, black cherry, mulberry, spice and cedar emerge. The palate displays cool climate elegance and refinement together with good length and depth. Flavours of liquorice allsorts, truffle, cherry and chocolate emerge. Fine, dry tannins. Long aftertaste of cherry, truffle, mulberry and spice.
