2003 Shaw & Smith M3 Vineyard Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. Aroma of yeast lees, melon and cashew, followed by a hint of lemon. Dry palate with creamy mouthfeel. Flavours of yeast lees, biscuit, almond and cashew. The structure is quite Burgundian with its emphasis on secondary flavours rather than primary fruit flavours. Clean finish. Aftertaste of biscuit, yeast lees and nut.
