2003 Seppelt Victorian Reserve Shiraz

A well made wine with a touch less depth of flavour that the 2002 vintage. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of plum and blackberry, followed by hints of violets , vanilla, spice and liquorice – showing distinct varietal character. The palate displays flavours of plum, stewed fruit and liquorice – without the depth of the 2002. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of plum, liquorice and stewed fruit.
