The wine was tasted only one week after bottling and shows some signs of bottling shock, however, this will settle down over the next 3-4 weeks. Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Lifted nose of confectionary, raspberry, spice and liquorice allsorts. The palate has excellent weight and mouthfeel, with flavours of spice, liquorice and confectionary, followed by raspberry and white pepper back palate. Fine dry tannins. Aftertaste of raspberry and white pepper.
