The Passing Clouds Vineyard was named by Graeme Leith after he discovered that the clouds did indeed pass the property, which has, over time become an even bigger issue than it was in 1970’s.  Water remains a key factor which is limiting Central Victoria’s growth.

Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue.  Top notes of vanilla, followed by plum, violet and liquorice.  Mouthfilling palate, delivering a full bodied, concentrated flavour profile, with confectionary, liquorice, plum, cedar and vanilla evident.  Excellent weight and length.  Perfect balance.  Velvet smooth tannins.  Aftertaste of plum, vanilla and liquorice allsorts.
Cellar 2-3 years (2008-2009)
Alc/Vol: 15.6%
