Winemakers are often naming wines after family members, particularly those who played a role in founding the wine business. Jackson Barry, however, is not one of those people. He is known for breaking up a Meat Cartel that had been operating in Cromwell in New Zealand. The miners from this Gold Mining town were so grateful that they ultimately elected Jackson Barry as the town’s first Mayor -A Great Story!

Very deep crimson colour and deep crimson mauve hue, displaying excellent Pinot colour. Perfumed nose, lifted violet top notes followed by cherry and spice. The palate delivers excellent weight and a very good power wave. Excellent length and depth. Velvet smooth tannins. Very long spicy cherry aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years (2009-2010)
Alc/Vol: 14.5%
