2003 Moss Wood Ribbon Vale Vineyard Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant straw colour with delicate green hue. Aroma of ripe tropical fruit and ripe gooseberry followed by a touch of green, herbal character with end notes of spice and confectionary. The palate weight is impressive and shows excellent concentration of flavour. Generous mouthfeel – almost Graves like in its flavour profile. Flavours of ripe gooseberries are meshed over a grassy herbaceous background with some lees character appearing. Crisp acid finish. Excellent balance. Very long aftertaste.
