2003 Magpie Estate The Fakir Grenache

A Grenache that is showing some early developed character. Medium body, crimson brick red colour with brick red hue. The nose reveals a hint of leather followed by prune, stewed plum and confectionary. The palate flavour profile is relatively light with stewed fruit and confectionary emerging and some leather nuances persisting on the back palate. Fine dry, slightly chalky tannins.
