2003 Jeanneret Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
The colour is showing more depth than expected from a 2003 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc. Aroma of confectionary and spice, followed by a touch of tropical fruit and citrus. The palate reveals flavours of ripe gooseberry. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of gooseberry, tropical fruit and lemon followed by a grassy characteristic that persists.

The Semillon component is sourced from the Clare Valley whilst the Sauvignon Blanc has been sourced from the Adelaide Hills. Bright pale straw colour. The nose displays a grassy herbaceous top note followed by spice and confectionary end notes. On the palate, the citrus flavours are dominant with grassy lemon flavours. Very crisp acid finish followed by a grassy lemon aftertaste.
