2003 Harcourt Valley Barbara's Shiraz

A well made wine but without the depth and power that the best wines from the region deliver. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of black pepper and spice followed by a hint of mint, new leather and confectionary. On the palate flavours of stewed fruit, confectionary and again a hint of mint are supported by fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and spice.
