2003 Grosset Gaia

The Gaia is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and 10% Merlot. This is a very tight wine that needs time to open. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of blackcurrant, spice, cedar and truffle. The palate is dominated by very dry tannins, however, there is an impressive layer of fruit that will continue to evolve. Layers of earth, cedar, truffle, blackcurrant and spice emerge. Dry tannins. Long aftertaste of cedar, truffle, leather and earth.
