2003 Green Point Shiraz

A well made elegant red. Very deep black crimson colour, with deep mauve purple hue. Appealing nose, with aroma of blackberry, violets, plum and spice. The palate is quite spicy, with flavours of blackberry and plum, followed by a hint of vanilla, spice and cherry. A refined style, exhibiting cool climate elegance. Aftertaste of spice, vanilla and cherry.

First tasted, April 2005:
Very deep crimson colour with deep mauve hue. Aroma of plum, spice and stewed fruit. The palate flavours are predictable. Plum, spice and stewed fruit are evident. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and spice.
