2003 Galli Estate Heathcote Sangiovese

Bright crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Medium body. Delightful nose of spice, confectionary and raspberry followed by stewed plum. A very fine Sangiovese. The palate shows very ripe fruit flavours with joosy raspberry, confectionary and liquorice emerging over a very spicy background. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, raspberry and spice. An excellent example of Sangiovese.
