$14. 99
Bottle
$179.88 Dozen
Cellar: 3 - 4 Years (2008-2009)
ABV: 14.5%

Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Lifted nose of cedar, violets, cassis and blackcurrant showing very good ripe Cabernet fruit character. The palate is not quite as intense as the 2002 High Trellis, but delivers flavours of spice, blackcurrant and chocolate flavours over a very spicy back palate. Fine dry tannins. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant and cedar with fine dry tannins persisting.
Cellar 3-4 years (2008-2009)
Alc/Vol: 14.5%

Other Reviews...
An excellent bargain, the deep ruby/purple-tinged 2003 The High Trellis Cabernet Sauvignon offers up aromas of cedar, black currants, and spice followed by surprising opulence as well as depth, richness, and smoothness. It is a delicious Cabernet to consume over the next 4-5 years.
