2003 Chanters Ridge Back Paddock Pinot Noir

A well made, lighter style Pinot. Winemaker John Ellis (of Hanging Rock fame) has produced a wine of translucent crimson colour with brick red hue. Perfumed nose, showing lifted spice and strawberry jam top notes. Moderate power wave creating a sense of elegance over a velvet smooth tannin background. Aftertaste of strawberry and spice.
