2003 Castello di Gabbiano Reserva

An Impressive Chianti Classico. Medium body, bright crimson colour with crimson brick red hue. On the nose hints of leather and spice followed by a hint of cherry and plum. Spicy palate with flavours of black cherry, raspberry and confectionary emerging. Fine grained tannins, with hints of new leather and spice. Aftertaste of raspberry, confectionary, spice and dried raisins.
