2003 Austin's Barrabool Shiraz

An elegant, yet forceful Shiraz. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose, displaying strong cool climate lift with aromas of spice and violets followed by black pepper. On the palate a sense of refinement is evident. Flavours of vanilla, spice, and plum are overlaid with violet infusions. Fine grained, slightly chalky tannins, with black and white pepper on the back palate. Very long aftertaste of black and white pepper.
