2003 Ainsworth & Snelson Chardonnay

Bright straw colour. The nose is subtle, with notes of yeast lees, hazelnut, cashew and delicate toasted oak emerging. Secondary flavours dominate the palate, with flavours of melon and citrus over a spicy oak background. The palate has good length, dry, with a touch of citrus emerging in the background. Soft acid finish. Aftertaste of lemon and yeast lees.
