2002 Yarra Ridge Unwooded Chardonnay

Made in a similar fashion to the Yarra Ridge Sauvignon Blanc with similar results – refreshing, fruit driven and unoaked! The fruit was crushed and chilled prior to a gentle pressing. Juice was settled and lightly filtered prior to a cool fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine was bottled early to retain the fresh delicate chardonnay flavours.

The 2002 Yarra Ridge Unwooded Chardonnay is a refreshing, light easy drinking wine, which is pale straw in colour with youthful green hues. Ripe tropical and citrus aromas are evident on a soft palate offering fresh, crisp and tangy citrus chardonnay fruit flavours and a clean acid finish.
