2002 Wordsworth Family Estate Chenin Blanc

A Chenin Blanc that is showing some age, but yet to gain complexity. Deep straw colour, with pale gold overlay showing bottle development. The nose is subtle, showing nuances of baked apple and spice. Creamy palate texture, with subtle flavours of apple and lemon, followed by a hint of spiced apple. The acid levels are beginning to fall. Warm spicy back palate.
