The 2002 Wolf Blass Chardonnay is vibrant yellow straw in colour. Varietal aromas of peach and melon, combined with a hint of oak are evident on the nose. The medium to full-bodied palate is well balanced with lively Chardonnay fruit, oak flavours and a creamy texture courtesy of partial malolactic fermentation. The finish is long and dry.

Viticulture: Select parcels of Chardonnay fruit were sourced from a range of vineyard sites throughout South Eastern Australia, to achieve the consistency of style this wine is renowned for. The 2002 vintage saw a long cool to mild ripening season resulting in excellent varietal fruit flavours and good acid structure
