Retasted:
A commercial wine. Bright straw colour. Grassy, herbaceous nose, with some unripe gooseberry end notes. The palate is losing its vitality and freshness. There are some tropical fruit and gooseberry flavours emerging, with a touch of confectionary on the back palate. Soft acidity. Tropical fruit and gooseberry aftertaste.

Previous Tasting:
Bright pale straw colour, showing bottle development. Subtle nose with notes of confectionary and cut hay, followed by a yeast lees end note. The palate is a touch flat and beginning to broaden out. Spice, confectionary and straw flavours emerge. Soft acid finish with aftertaste falling away. The wine has lost its power and freshness.
