This big selling point behind this wine is that it has been made by Rick Kinzbrunner at Giaconda in Beechworth. The style is quite European, but it is no Giaconda and that brings home the point very clearly that the quality of the grapes is paramount to the winemaker. Giaconda terroir is quite different to Toolangi terroir and that is very evident from the wine. The wine has been fermented in new and one year old French oak.

Bright pale gold colour with deep straw hue. Aroma of hazelnut, biscuit, honeycomb followed by a yeast lees end note. Creamy palate texture with flavours of citrus over a cashew yeast lees background. Excellent palate weight. Soft acid finish with aftertaste of spice and honeycomb.
