- Closure: Cork
Langhorne Creek is better known for its reds, although the region is definitely capable of producing fuller style, aromatic whites. Brilliant straw colour. The nose displays good varietal character with lifted floral notes followed by a citrus, spice end note. The palate delivers plenty of Riesling flavour but without the power and finesse of Rieslings from other regions, such as the Eden Valley. Flavours of pear, spice and tropical fruit emerge. Moderate length. Clean acid finish, following a tropical fruit and pear aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years. (2005-2006)
Retasted 15/04/2003: This wine has been certified Organic BFA. Brilliant pale straw colour. The nose is very appealing with lifted floral lime and lemon notes with a spicy end note. On the palate, the lemon flavours are dominant showing a hint of residual sweetness, followed by a very ripe pineapple back palate. Crisp flinty acid finish followed by a long lime, ripe pineapple aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years (2006-2007)
