2002 Taylors St Andrews Chardonnay

This wine is showing considerable bottle development. Bright golden colour with gold hue. There is an oxidized character on the nose, showing both age and oxidative treatment of the juice. Top note of toast, honey and yeast lees displaying strong barrel ferment character. The palate flavours are fully developed with hazelnut, cashew and toasted honey flavours dominant. Soft acid finish. Creamy texture. Long aftertaste of honey, toast, lees and hazelnut.
