2002 Taltarni Three Monks Cabernet Merlot

A well made commercial wine. Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. The nose shows good varietal characteristics, with a top note of spice and blackcurrant, followed by confectionary, mulberry and ripe plum. Fine grained dry tannins, with flavour of stewed fruit and liquorice. Dry tannins persist into the aftertaste.
