2002 Taltarni Chardonnay Pinot Noir Brut

This sparkling wine starts off well. Creamy mousse with fine, persistent bead. Straw coloured base wine. The nose displays a hint of vegemite and yeast lees, followed by a subtle hint of biscuit. Creamy palate texture, with delicate flavour profile. Flavours of yeast lees and cashew followed by a touch of citrus on the back palate. Clean acid finish. ‘Sherbet bomb’ like aftertaste.
